Risk
The problem with looking too far away from fundamentals is that it inherently involves significant risk. Since the factors we consider are not measurable, a lot of guesswork is required. Even if these are educated guesses, they don't always pan out.
It's possible for a company to achieve massive revenue increases, yet its share price might not rise if people haven't noticed or don't care about it. This disconnect can make it challenging to rely solely on qualitative analysis.
Compromise
There is a very important compromise to make here: the more speculative you go and the farther you move away from the numbers, the higher the risk you must take.
